Outspoken Dancehall selector Foota Hype is refuting the claims that Jamaican Reggae icon Bob Marley’s widow Rita Marley has died.
Foota, real name Oniel Thomas, took to social media on Wednesday night to upload a video addressing the rumours which started circulating earlier this week. “Stop spread false news Rita Marley is alive get u info str8 before u blast out things smfh don’t call mi wid nuh f**kry stress mi out.” He captioned the post.

Marley was hospitalized last week after suffering a major stroke while in the United States.
According to reports, Marley was scheduled to make an appearance at an event in Miami, however it was cancelled after she suffering a major stroke.
