Foota Hype pulled out all the stops at Reggae Sumfest Street Dance on Monday, July 15.
During the outspoken Dancehall selector/producer’s segment, Foota Hype addressed Reggae Sumfest organiser/Downsound Records principal Joe Bogdanovich buying a brand new Mercedes-Benz for his ex-fiancée Ishawna and Shauna Chyn.
“Unu know seh him buy her (Shauna Chyn) a big benz right? but him did buy my ex-girlfriend a little one zeen? Suh a Joe (Bogdanovich) style fi buy weh yuh gal,” Foota Hype said told the audience inside the Old Hospital Park along the Hip Strip in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Foota Hype added that while Joe took away Shauna Chyn and Gully Bop went back into the gully, after his Ishawna controversy he only got richer, “See Joe all turn round and book mi fi Sumfest, mi cyaa mad because mi have too much gal,” he said before playing Munga Honorable’s smash hit “Nah Mad (Ova Nuh Gal.)
During Foota Hype’s set Joe Bogdanovich walked up on the stage. The two then shared a conversation for the first time in six years. Watch full video below.
