The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) has revealed that five police officers from the mobile reserve have been arrested in relation to the shooting injury of a female student of Convent of Mercy Academy Alpha in Kingston last Thursday.
The female student was allegedly shot during a high speed chase between cops and taxi operator who failed to stop after being signaled by lawmen. The female student was shot in the head.
The student remains in intensive care at the Kingston Public Hospital following emergency surgery.
According to reports the five cops were taken into custody on Monday and will face a identification parade.
