Police seized a firearm along with three 9mm rounds of ammunition on St Johns Road, Spanish Town Friday night.
According to reports, about 7:20 pm, members of the Spanish Town Proactive Investigation Unit were in the area when they approached a group of men who ran on seeing them.
The area was searched and one SCCY-CPX 9mm pistol and the ammunition were found.
No one was taken into custody in relation to the seizure.
