A Danish producer is reportedly suing rapper Fetty Wap and producer Tony Fadd over claims that he owns the exclusive rights the smash single “Trap Queen,” according to TMZ.

Lazar Lakic is claiming that he bought the exclusive rights to a song called “Hello” from producer Tony Fadd in 2014, only for virtually the same beat to be reused to make Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen.”

According to Lakic he was contacted by Fadd a month after the release of Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen,” seeking to repurchase the rights to the song “Hello,” an offer claims he refused.

Lawyers representing Fetty have reportedly signaled their intent to also sue Fadd if Lakic’s lawsuit proves successful. They claim that their client legally bought the beat from Fadd, and have a contract guaranteeing them exclusive use.
