Etana set her name in the history books earlier this week after becoming the first female artist from Jamaica to top the Billboard Reggae Albums chart with back to back albums.

The “Not Afraid” singer achieved the milestone earlier this week after her latest project “Reggae Forever” climbed to the top spot on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart.

This is the second consecutive project by the Reggae crooner to reach the top spot on the prestigious chart as she previously achieved the feat with “I Rise,” which was released in 2014.

According to the entertainer, she is extremely happy with the accolade as it represents her growth in the music industry over the years.

The singer also expressed her gratitude towards her fans for their support in an era which she says is becoming increasingly difficult to gain traditional album sales.

Reggae Forever is independently produced by Etana and is distributed internationally by Tad’s Records.
