Reggae artiste Etana has no other option but to be the “Strong One” as she continues to lose fans due to her recent comments made on Entertainment Report.
The “Wrong Address” singer sent social media users into a frenzy Friday night after she announced that she’s a supporter of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and she will be voting for him.
While many flocked her social media pages to unfollow and voice their disappointment, Etana broke her silence by responding to one user saying, “I meant on politics !!! In the contexts of the political question he asked. You know what. I will lose some of my fans today and it’s unfortunate but I have done all I could do. people will understand that it was not edited with everything I said. Some of you were never real fans to begin with as well as some of you really were.”
Etana added that, “I apologize you are hurt today and I won’t pretend I don’t feel hurt as well. Point is if I never entertained any political argument all the good things I said would not have been lost. Didn’t even say Mexicans were bad people I said all kinds of bad people come in the country. It went really wrong and I am know it was done purposely. I made videos I tweeted etc. I honestly will have to leave it here as people will always try to find ways to tear another down. It’s very unfortunate.”
