The Tropixs (Atlanta, Georgia) Rapper Safaree and his wife-to-be Erica Mena are expecting their first child together.
The “Love & Hip Hop” star is expecting her first child with fiancé Safaree Samuels, the couple announced in a video on Tuesday.
The 38-year-old rapper could hardly contain his excitement as he rubbed her belly saying “Wow, wow, it’s a big deal! Very big deal. I didn’t know I was capable of doing this.”
“I’m nervous. I’m in shock. I’m in disbelief. It’s very surreal to me. I don’t know what to do but I know I’m going to be great at what I do because I’m great at everything,” Safaree continued.
Safaree proposed to Mena, 31, back in December 2018 at her house in Atlanta.
A month before announcing their engagement the rapper professed his love for the reality star saying “When I’m not with her, I get headaches because I’m just thinking about her nonstop.”
According to reports, the couple will tie the knot sometime next week and will be filmed as part of their VH1 show.
Safaree was previously romantically involved with rapper Nicki Minaj, dating the Hip Hop star for years before they parted ways.
This will be the second child for Mena, who already has a son, King Conde.
