Entertainer Says She Is Being Targeted By Extortionists

The Tropixs (Kingston, Jamaica) A female Dancehall artiste is now fearful for her life after becoming the target of a group of extortionists.

Upcoming female artiste Black Queen says she is now living in fear after alleged extortionists fired a barrage of gunshots in the yard of her home in Tower Isles, St Mary.

The upcoming artiste claims that alleged extortionists came under the guise of being construction workers who offered their services to work on her house.

According to the deejay, she began receiving death threats from the men after she decided to hire rival contractors to the construction work on her home instead of using their services.

“I met some guys who claimed they were contractors I ask them to look at a job and tell me how much It would cost to get it done, and they told me $80,000 at the time,”  she explained.

“The job consisted of paving off a room and dressing the wall. I got suspicious when they should have been flashing and dressing the wall, and wanted to tile the floor without the electrical piping being done,” she continued, adding” I realized what was happening so I told them I had to put a hold on the job and I would contact them until further notice, I already had given them a down payment of $33,000 dollars at that time.”

However, the entertainer would soon find herself in peril as the men would return upon discovering that the job was done first demanding $10,000 dollars compensation then later $40,000 after she refused.

According to the deejay, the men came back to her house while she was not there and made several threats to her two daughters warning that they were going to shoot up her house if they don’t get some money.

The entertainer says she reported the matter to the police and the men were warned but still returned the following Monday touting a shot gun and firing several shots in her yard.

The aspiring star says she is now fearful for her life as she has since discovered that the men are involved in numerous extortions, robberies, and murders within the Port Maria area.

She says she has made additional reports to cops but still feels unsafe.
