The funeral service for popular comedian and media personality Elva Ruddock is set for this Saturday.

Fans, friends, and family members will bid farewell to the comedic actor this weekend at the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium at Jamaica College in St Andrew, with a life celebration party scheduled for Friday.

Elva, who is known for her larger than life personality died at the Kingston Public Hospital on October 7, following a prolonged battle with Lupus.

Several entertainers and fellow comedians have poured out their tributes for the media personality since her passing including close friend Christopher “Johnny” Daley who described her a “true friend” and motivator.

Ruddock was a former columnist with the Jamaica Observer, a host of Fame FM’s Full House Fridays, and co-host of the popular infomercial for the Bashco stores with Omar Azan.
