Drake talks love for Bob Marley’s music and lifestyle

Canadian Rapper Drake recently spoke candidly with John “Coach Cal” Calipari on his “Cal Cast” podcast about his love for late Reggae legend Bob Marley.

According to the “One Dance” hit maker he’s a big fan of Marley’s music and lifestyle which he closely studied, “I definitely would have loved to sit with Bob Marley,” Drizzy said.

Drake who famously sampled Bob during the outro of his 2011 hit 40-produced single “Club Paradise” added, “I’ve listened to his music my entire life. I’ve studied his life. Listening to him speak in interviews I’ve seen, knowing what he stood for, I would have loved to understand where his mind was at and sat and talked with him. Working together is a whole ‘nother story. If I could sit in somebody’s presence and just build, that would probably be the guy.”

During the interview Drake also spoke about wanting to meet late R&B icon Aaliyah and his upcoming project “More Life,” listen below.
