DJ Perf Releases “Up This Time” By Stig Da Artis

I fell in love with music from as far as I can remember, mainly inspired by RnB singer Usher. I made my first song when I was 8 years old, and eventually become a huge fan or Lil Wayne and Eminem. It was until my late teenage years that I started to like Dancehall music, Vybz Kartel, Movado, Serani, Demarco and a few others. Eventually I started creating my own unique style and sound out of three; RnB, Hip Hop and Dancehall. Hence in my lyrics you will find a lot of punchlines, play of words, syllables, story telling, emotions, all together with a Belizean creole accent.

My goal/vision is to get known globally, representing not only my self but my country and it’s present generation. I also want to inspire the world, young people like my self, showing them that anything is possible if you simply believe, be bold enough and speak it, along with putting in the grind necessary (even if that mean giving up or adopting new habits). I think it’s obvious that I’m a strong believer of the Law of Attraction and healthy thinking, hence I’ve fell in love with the practice of meditating. If you listen clearly in my music you will tell.
I make songs about any and everything, depending on how I’m feeling at the moment and where I am as a person in life. Music is my life. If I’m not freestyling or making a new sing, I’m listen to an album from one of my favorite artist while going for a long run. I am a full time artist, this is all I know!
