Buju Banton and DJ Khaled have been keeping in contact throughout the quarantine.
Dj Khaled took to Instagram to post a screenshot of his Facetime call with Buju Banton. In the photo, Buju was seen smiling as he chatted with his friend Khaled and his baby son Aalam.
“@aalamkhaled holding a firm mediation wit his uncle @bujuofficial today!! When Aalam was born we played ‘Destiny’ in the delivery room! JAH BLESS,” DJ Khaled wrote in his caption.
Khaled has always referred to Buju as his kids’ uncle, the producer often plays the singer’s music while vibing at home.
The two have maintained a close relationship over the years, with Khaled declaring him as one of his favorite artiste of all time.
Last year Khaled flew his entire family to Jamaica to see Buju Banton following his release from prison.
The producer was one of the first to visit Buju after he served ten years in a United States prison. During his trip, Khaled hit up the studios with Buju where he recorded two tracks for his album “Father Of Asahd.”
