Following the tragic death of a 2-year-old child who was killed by an alligator at a Walt Disney Resort this week, the company has constructed a fence and implemented warning signs around its Seven Seas Lagoon to block wildlife.
The 2-year-old child, Lane Graves who was attacked while wadding in no more than a foot of water. His official cause of death was related to drowning and traumatic injuries from the alligator attack.
Since the tragic incident Disney has reportedly implemented fencing and alligator warning signs around the perimeter to warn guests about the potential dangers of wildlife.
The president of Walt Disney World Resort, Jacquee Wahler, says these measures are just a step in their rectification process as they develop a plan for a long-term solution.
