Dexta Daps “Vent” Makes Billboard Debut At No.1

Dexta Daps has an album featured on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart for the very first time in his career.

The Dancehall sex symbol’s latest project, “Vent” has made its debut at number 10 on the streaming-driven Billboard Reggae Albums chart.

Dexta Daps, whose given name is Louis Grandison, released the 16-track album back in July. Vent features collaborations with Beenie Man, Spice, Ikaya, Chronic Law and Blakmann.

Dappa Daps’ smash hit “Breaking News,” is on featured on the album. It also includes “Call Me If.” He recently revealed that some of the inspiration for the beat for “Call Me If” was taken from Louis Culture’s 26-year-old hit song, Gangalee. The artiste has consistently delivered hits and continues to rise in dancehall. He also recently performed at the virtual Sunsplash.
