Dancehall artiste Dexta Daps made international headlines on Sunday after his recent performance in New York.
According to the NY Post, the “Owner” singer took the stage at a secret event in Brooklyn on Saturday night which attracted a a packed crowd which failed to exercise COVID-19 guidelines.
Under the New York’s COVID-19 guidelines, outdoor entertainment-related activities are only allowed to resume at 33% capacity and with six feet of distance between people.
In now-viral footage form the event, Dexta Daps alongside Ikaya can be seen performing live for hundreds of fans packed tightly at an undisclosed outdoor venue.
The concert was advertised as a “special, exclusive day party at a secret location” at US$50 per ticket. It was also promoted by Dexta Daps.
