Mavado left dancehall fans disappointed on Sunday after he failed to perform at Best Of The Best 2017 however promoters are now blaming Dexta Daps for the incident.
The show at Bayfront Park, downtown Miami ended prematurely over the weekend which resulted in the ‘Big League’ headliner not being able to take the stage.
The promoters are now blaming the entire ordeal on the “unprofessional behavior” of Dancehall Sinjay Dexta Daps, who they say caused the event to go beyond its midnight deadline.
According to event co-promoter Steven “DJ Jabba” Beckford, the event’s scheduling was disrupted after the Dexta Daps refused to turn up to the venue until certain demands were met.

The ‘Owner’ crooner reportedly refused to leave his hotel room until he was given the remainder of his performance fee, 10 extra passes and a outstanding US$1000 he was owed in traveling expenses from a previous event.
Promoters say they agreed to all of the artist’s terms, but after he eventually hit the stage and performed for approximately 30 minutes cops called time on the event, leaving many patrons dissatisfied.
