Devin Di Dakta, Ikaya Join Anti-Smoking Campaign

Dancehall artist Devin Di Dakta and Reggae singer Ikaya have both joined forces with the National Council on Drug Abuse in their latest campaign aimed at encouraging youths against the use of Marijuana.

The entertainers have become the faces of the educational campaign titled Talk Di Truth: Youth and Ganja, which was organized by the Ministries of Health, Education, Justice and National Security.

Both artists expressed confidence that the educational tour would give them the perfect opportunity to them to get close and personal with young minds, and hopefully assist in educating them about some of the potential dangers of smoking towards their education.

According to the entertainers, music is an ideal tool to reach out to youths, and thus entertainer’s should realize their power and utilize this for a positive impact on the minds of the younger generation.

The two artists officially signed on to be part of the campaign back in September and have since collaborated on the campaign’s signature jingle “Future Come First,”  which is recorded on producer Notnice’s  Talk Di Truth rhythm.
