Beyonce and Jay Z created a frenzy in Tench Town on Tuesday as they passed through the community for a video shoot.

Residents flocked the streets behind erected security barricades hoping to catch get a rare view of the billionaire couple, who are currently in Jamaica shooting footage for an undisclosed project.

Fans hoping to catch a preview of filming were left disappointed as most of the footage was actually shot inside a local barber shop in the community.

Beyonce spent much of her time recording footage of the popular “D & R Barber Shop”, which has been used by various local entertainers including Lanz, Bounty Killer and the Marleys in the past.

Here’s Why Jay Z And Beyonce Are Currently In Jamaica

According to establishment owner Gilmore Rhynie, aka Barber Dickie, this is not the first time his barber shop has been used by entertainers for music videos but this is by far the most high profile.

Rhynie revealed that he was contacted four days prior to filming by the couple’s team while they were scouting the community for hot spots.

He says following discussions with Bey’s team a sum was agreed upon for the R&B superstar to use his place and the necessary paperwork signed.

Although he says he cannot disclose the details of his compensation due to contractual agreement Rhynie says he is thoroughly satisfied with the arrangements.

It is believed that the footage is not intended for a specific music video but will actually be used for Beyonce’s upcoming On The Run Tour Part Two.
