Demi Lovato In Stable Condition After Apparent Overdose

Demi Lovato is reportedly in stable condition following an apparent overdose of heroin on Tuesday.

Lovato was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital yesterday, authorities say they responded to a medical emergency located in the Hollywood Hills.

The pop singer was found unconscious and treated at the scene with Naloxone, an anti-overdose medicine, after possibly taking heroin.

Demi Lovato Has Concert Activities For Mental Health Awareness

Lovato has been dealing with addiction, mental illness and eating disorders for several years. She was treated for bipolar disorder, bulimia, self-harm and addiction back in 2010 when she underwent rehabilitation.

She then went to a sober living facility for a year after relapsing. A source close to Lovato says, “Demi was never really clean and sober from all of her demons. She has been fighting depression and anxiety for quite some time — and is still in such a dark place. She was sober for a while, but not completely sober for six years.”
