Dancehall star Demarco wowed an audience of more than 6,000 patrons during a concert in Seychelles over the weekend.

The hitmaker got the biggest ‘forward’ of the night with his iconicFallen Soldiers, with the audience singing along word for word. At one point, he asked for the lights to be turned off, and lighters twinkled like a thousand points of light in the inky darkness as the audience members waved in harmony to the song.

He also earned encores for songs such as Life, Lazy Body, Puppy Tail and Good Book.

Seychelles is an archipelago on the east coast of mainland East Africa, and has a population of roughly 93,000, the smallest population of any independent African state. The island has a healthy love for dancehall and reggae.

In the meantime, the deejay continues to rack up the hits with his Remix, hitting the top 10 of the FIWI Choice Top 10 charts.

The Puppy Tail deejay is getting a major international boost with the release of the upbeat single, Feeling U, which is featured on the album of Jamaican DJ KickRaux and Ras Kwame.

The uptempo track also features rap heavyweights like Ayo Jay, Doctor and Tyga.

“I feel honoured to work with Ayo Jay and Tyga, two of the biggest hip-hop stars in the game right now. The song premiered on Billboard.com last week and hit online this week to great reviews,” Demarco said.
