D’Angel Honoured By The State Of Georgia For Dancehall Contribution

D’Angel was recently honoured by the state of Georgia.

The Lady of Dancehall, real name Michelle Downer was honoured by the state for keeping the Caribbean tradition alive through her contribution to Dancehall music.

“Thanks To The Governor Mr Bryan Kemp For This Recognition,” D’Angel wrote online. “Hard Work And Humility Gets Me This Far Sometimes It Takes Other People To See That Other Than Your Own… ”

D’Angel was reportedly the first female artiste ever to be honoured by the state, “You Heard For Yourself “FIRST FEMALE EVER! “Been Ah Dweet Fi Di Love And Not Di Hype” The Longest Liver Will Live To See The Most? God Bless,” she continued.

The presentation happened outside the entertainer’s hotel room however was initially scheduled to be done on stage at Atlanta Carnival but “The Show Shut Down Before I Could Even Get There Due To Over Crowded,” D’Angel said.
