D’Angel has hired a lawyer following the hack of her OnlyFans account last month.

D’Angel joined the London-based content subscription service back in June.

OnlyFans creators can earn money from users who subscribe to their content. While the site is largely known for typically of the pornographic variety, Dancehall artiste Ishawna also has an account on the popular platform.

Shorty after joining OnlyFans, The lady of Dancehall says the content from her page was stolen and distributed on social media. She is now is threatening to take legal action.

Monday, July 20, D’Angel’s lawyer Christopher Townsend released a statement warning that those responsible are in breach of the acceptable user policy of the platform and are now under investigation.

“You are hereby on notice that accessing the OnlyFans database with the intent to steal copyrighted material amounts to a breach of the Copyright Act and part II of the Cybercrimes Act. Perpetrators are subject to civil and criminal liability. In prosecuting these claims, third party transmitters of copyrighted images by whatsoever means, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and Youtube are investigated and may be held liable.”

The public was further advised to delete all unauthorised images of D’Angel and refrain from further dissemination.
