D’Angel teased fans with a freestyle about Reggae icon Buju Banton and his son Markus Myrie.
Following Buju Banton and Markus Myrie’s altercation at his Gargamel Music Studio last month, rumours started to circulate that the Dancehall producer’s alleged relationship with D’Angel was the reason behind the dust-up.
While Markus Myrie quickly refuted the claims saying D’Angel was too old for him, and the first lady of Dancehall hitting back saying “misery loves company,” a new song is seemingly in the works.
On Sunday, ahead of her performance at Chug It anniversary, D’Angel uploaded a short freestyle addressing Buju Banton and Markus Myrie on her Instagram account.
“Stadium ram by Buju Banton / Me sing, deejay, Markus produce song / So why my name fi a call up? / Me no pedeophile, a Buju me wan’ put one pan / Everything what happen in Dancehall is me get the blame,” D’Angel sings.
