It seems not even the “Seven Star General” LA Lewis is above the law.
The enigmatic Dancehall star, was recently arrested and charged for failing to produce his driver’s license following a confrontation between himself and traffic cops in Kingston.
On Tuesday Fans were left in a state of hysteria after footage of the often trolled Dancehall entertainer emerged on social media being arrested by cops.
“Bad bwoi LA a get cuff… a joke ting” a voice can be heard saying in the now viral video clip before another man hilariously added “that nuh look right, a big artiste enuh.”
Many fans took to social media to poke further fun at the situation with one fan joking “It is clear that the police are escorting his royal highness. Silly peasants …”
However, later that day more details on what exactly took place would emerge after the deejay posted a full video of himself documenting the enter ordeal on camera.
In the footage, which the deejay posted to YouTube, the entertainer could be heard challenging lawmen over what he claims was a illegal traffic ticket following a turn.
The deejay would go on to point out that the police had allowed countless other persons to continue along the same turn without penalizing them also.
The “Sobolious” star was then arrested after officers asked him to produce his driver’s license, which he could not provide upon request.
