Ainsley ‘Notnice’ Morris has entered the Billboard top ten Reggae Albums chart with his new album “Kyng Midas.”

The Dancehall super producer, who is responsible for some of the biggest hits in the genre over the past few years managed to enter the chart at the number 9 position this week despite only selling a paltry 64 copies.

The 18-track debut project, which was released August 9 by Notnice Records and distributed by ONErpm, features tracks from Dancehall heavyweights such as; Popcaan, Sean Paul, Bounty Killer, Jafrass, Gage, Teejay, Agent Sasco, Jah Vinci and Dexta Daps.

The first single from the highly anticipated set, “New Found Love” by Popcaan, which is a remake of a classic Garnet Silk track, was relesed several weeks ago to solid reviews.

The top spot on the Billboard Reggae Album charts continues to be occupied by Pepper with their album “Local Motion,” which sold an additional 509 copies to bring its tally to 4,167.
