Dancehall entertainer Squash is addressing his viral hospital photo.
The Montego Bay-based deejay sent fans into a frenzy on Saturday after a photo of him in a hospital bed surfaced online.
A member of the “Money Fever” deejay’s team uploaded the image on Instagram with a cryptic caption “??? @squash6iixboss.” Social media users quickly reposted the photo issuing prayers while many speculated on the reason Squash was hospitalised.
Speaking on the photo Sunday, the 6ix Boss told fans that he is alive and well.Squash explained that the photo was from his recent video shoot and was uploaded without his knowledge.
Squash, whose given name is Andre Whittaker, was released from police custody back in January after being detained for six months under the Emergency Powers Act.
Known for hits such as; Lavish, Trending, Money Fever and Allergy, Squash was taken into custody on August 8 during the state of emergency in St James.
While the police listed the entertainer as a person of interest and kept him in custody for months, he always maintained his lack of involvement in any criminal activity.
