Dancehall Artist’s Mother Attacked By Gunmen

Dancehall entertainer Big Bop says his mother and stepfather were attacked by a gunman last week Friday.

According to reports, the former Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall’s stepfather was forced to defend himself and his fiancé against a gunman who invaded their home in New Nursery, Spanish Town.

Big Bop has since made an emotional plea for peace and love in the country. “We are one people, love mi a preach and mi nah stop say it,” he said. “Mi just asking the yutes fi just end the crime and violence, please mi a beg unu, mi almost lose mi madda, that a mi heartbeat.”

The incident occurred at around 10 o’clock on Friday night. The intruder was reportedly chopped during the saga. The Spanish Town police have launched a full investigation.
