Dancehall Artistes Squash, Shaneil Muir, Teejay & More React The Death Of DJ National

The Dancehall industry is currently mourning the death of disc jockey, DJ National.

DJ National passed away after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident earlier this month. The prominent disc jockey spent some time in the hospital undergoing treatment but succumb to his injuries on Saturday.

DJ National was a close affiliate to the Squash-led 6ixx camp as well as a slew of Montego Bay-based dancehall artistes including Shaneil Muir and Uptop Boss Teejay.

“Me bredda Me blood me fam 🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸😢😢😢😢😢,” Squash captioned a photo of National shortly after the devastating news broke. “Goood are bad times you mek me laugh me blood 😭,” he said in a follow-up post.



“Thank you for crossing my path, I’m still in shock but I could only hear you say “TopGyal a wa do yuh man! 20 years! “ I am numb but I’m just going to keep the joy you brought into this world 😔,” Shaneil Muir wrote.



“Jah know National 😔😔😔 THE JOURNEY NEVER END! Yah me REAL G💐 Love yuh to me HEART 💫 YAH STAR,” She continued.
