Embattled Dancehall artiste Laden will learn his fate as he will be sentenced in the St. Elizabeth Parish court today (December 16)
The original sentencing was set for yesterday, however his case was postponed when his lawyer appeared court.
The deejay, who has been in police lock-up since his arrest in October, has pleaded guilty to charges of illegal possession of firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, and failing to stop on the request of the police in relation to an incident in October where he was spotted breaching the national curfew set to limit the spread of COVID-19.
Laden, whose real name is Okeefe Aarons, faces the possibility of a prison term between two to five years, legal luminaries have estimated.
