Dancehall Artiste Dies In Florida Car Accident

A Dancehall entertainer died in a fatal car accident last Thursday in Tampa, Florida.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Vivian Grey, more popularly known by his stage name Massop Di General.

The deejay was signed to Mineral Boss Records (MBR) and known for singles such as Moan and Groan, Ungrateful, Badmine Ago Kill Dem, Play U Kunto and No Stress.

Tawana Jones, head of Mineral Boss Records has expressed sadness at Massop Di General’s passing.

“This is so tragic. Last weekend, he performed with Shane O in Tampa and his career was picking up as he was getting airplay on stations in Jamaica with his song, ‘Badmind Ago Kill Dem’ and now he is gone,” she told Loop Jamaica. “He was booked for multiple shows; this is so sad.”
