Dancehall Artist Gives Aid To Machete-Wielding Mother

An upcoming Dancehall artist, Prince Reignn, has given a helping hand to the embattled mother, Doreen Dyer, who was involved in the controversial viral video showing a woman beating her 12-year-old daughter with a machete.

The upcoming St Thomas recording artist, who is best known for his single “Norbrook” ventured to his native community of Bath, St Thomas on Wednesday to donate a bag of groceries and $15,000 in cash to the struggling mother of five.

The deejay says he decided to help the embattled woman after she expressed frustration with her inability to find her legal fees, as well as other difficulties she has faced since being was released on bail on Tuesday.

According to Prince Reignn, he is urging other artists to help the woman’s situation as she remains a good person who has helped many others in the community, and persons should not use this particular incident to judge her.
