Damian Marley recently spoke about Chronixx’s music and his Grammy nomination.
The two Reggae superstars are vying to win the ‘Best Reggae Album’ category at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony slated for January 28, 2018. Marley and Chronixx released their albums back in July with Junior Gong dropping ‘Stony Hill’ and the ‘Likes’ singer ‘Chronology.’
Speaking on his nomination, Damian Marley said he is deeply honored for the recognition given to his latest project while also praising Chronixx’s album. “Some good albums are in the category this year,” the ‘Welcome To Jamrock’ singer said.

“Chronixx put out a really nice album, which I listen to as a fan. I like that album a whole heap. Morgan Heritage, who are close family friends of mine, they have a good album out too, likewise J Boog. I am not so familiar with Common Kings, but everybody else I kinda know them music and we are all friends,” he added.
Damian Marley and Chronixx were also nominated in the reggae category for the 2017 MOBO Awards which Junior Gong won last month.
