Sales of Damian Marley’s latest project ‘Stony Hill’ have surged following his 2018 Grammy win.

The Reggae icon was named winner in the Best Reggae Album category of the 60th annual Grammy Awards on January 28. Jr Gong won for his fourth solo studio album ‘Stony Hill’ which was released on the Republic Records label.

Marley had previously won Grammy Best Reggae Album trophies for Half Way Tree and Welcome to Jamrock. ‘Stony Hill’ was released in July 2017. It spent several weeks atop the Billboard Reggae album chart.

The project which sold more than 18,000 copies in the United States before his Grammy win picked up an additional 426 units after the announcement, according to Nielsen Music.

‘Stony Hill’ holds firm to the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Reggae Chart this week and could return to the top spot very soon.
