Former Roc-a-Fella co-owner Dame Dash has labeled Jay Z and Beyonce “cowards” for not defending his ex-wife Rachel Roy, after she was unfairly targeted for allegations she was “Becky with the good hair.”
Dash told Grazia Daily that “They are cowards. They should have stepped up and said something,” and that his ex-wife and children were unfairly targeted following unfounded assumptions.
Roy was accused by many fans of being the infamous “Becky with the good hair,” referred to in Beyonce’s ‘LEMONADE’ track “Sorry,” a claim which the flatly denied. The songwriter for the controversial single also dismissed the connection as silly.

The fashion designer and her children became the target of numerous internet trolls, intimidation and even had her personal Gmail and iCloud accounts hacked, allegedly by angry fans.
According to Dash the acts were cruel, and the culprits should have been arrested.
