Jamaican singer Dalton Harris has advanced to the next round of the UK talent competition, X Factor.

The former Digicel Rising Stars winner has progressed to the second phase of the televised British talent competition last week after managing to impress judges with his stellar audition performance.

Last week Harris wowed judges and fans alike with a spectacular rendition of Elton John’s “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word,” earning himself a standing ovation and resounding approval from the judges.Congrations

The singer will now move on to the next round of the competition, where contestants will face the infamous six chair challenge, which is basically a blind assessment of their talents by judges.

Although the entertainer admits he was extremely nervous during his auditions he is no stranger to this kind of atmosphere as he was crowned champion eight years ago in the Digicel Rising Stars competition in Jamaica.

The singer also recently revealed that he had actually auditioned for US equivalent of the competition several years ago but could not progress due to his lack of necessary paperwork under competition rules.
