Bill Cosby has failed at his latest attempt to have the criminal sex-assault charges brought against him thrown out.

The actor who is charged for sexual molesting Andrea Constand in 2004 is working tirelessly to avoid going to trial, the appeal was heard in a Pennsylvania court and the judge ruled against Cosby.

Cosby’s lawyer argued that the alleged victim should have given her testimony during a preliminary trial so that they would have had the opportunity to question her, however, according to Pennsylvania law, a prosecutor is allowed to use hearsay testimony from a police officer at pretrial hearings.

Cosby’s defense lawyer Brian McMonagle is doing everything in his power to ensure his client does not go to trial and has said he has hopes to be apart of a related appeal which will be heard by the state Supreme Court.

The actor is set for trial in June in Philadelphia.
