Cops shoot gunman after he brutally murders vendor Downtown

The police have reportedly shot and injured a lone gunman, was trying to make his escape after viciously murdering a vendor along Princess Street in downtown Kingston on Friday.

According to police reports, the vendor was gunned down in cold blood by his attacker along the busy Princess Street area of downtown Kingston at approximately 3:40 pm.

Cops reportedly intercepted the gunman as he tried to make his escape on foot. Upon being confronted by lawmen the shooter reportedly raised his firearm and was shot and injured.

Police say one firearm was retrieved, and the gunman taken to hospital.
