Sean Kingston has been released after being detained by cops last weekend.

The pop superstar has been freed after being detained by cops following a search for guns in Los Angeles last Saturday night.

According to police reports, they were informed that a man brandishing the rapper’s description was seen brandishing a gun. The alleged incident took place inside Dino’s Chicken and Burgers restaurant.

Reports claim cops ordered the “Take You There” star to get down on the ground before detaining him in handcuffs.

The rapper and others present were questioned, but ultimately nobody was charged as no weapons were found. It is unclear who may have tipped off the cops or whether a gun was ever involved in the incident.

However, according to TMZ, eyewitness accounts paint a different picture of what actually happened.

An anonymous source claims that Kingston’s car was blocking the exit of the parking lot, which angered customers. The rapper was confronted by several customers and reportedly reacted by throwing ice cubes at windows in the restaurant.

The witness described the ice hitting the glass as creating a loud cracking noise. They say this may have prompted someone in or outside the restaurant to believe gunshots were being fired.
