Cop To Be Extradited On Lottery Scamming Charges

A Jamaican police constable is among eight persons set to be extradited to the United States to answer to Mail Fraud charges.

The cop has been identified as Jason Jahalal, a 27-year-old member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force. He was implicated along with eight others, in what prosecutors are calling a multi-million dollar lottery scam network.

The other persons named in the extradition order are Alrick McLeod, O’Neil Brown, Xanu Ann Morgan, Dario Palmer, Kazrae Gray, Kimberly Hudson, and Dahlia Hunter.

On Wednesday Justice Minister Delroy Chuck paved the way for the nine accused to be extradited to the United States after he signed the extradition orders.
