Clarendon’s most wanted shot dead by cops

The Clarendon Police are reporting that the parish’s most wanted man was shot dead by lawmen in a alleged shootout in Palmers Cross on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Rohan Stevens otherwise called ‘Virus’ of Palmers Cross in the parish. He was linked to at least 15 murders, and various other crimes including shooting, robbery and extortion.

Stevens was allegedly shot dead during a gun battle with lawmen at approximately 5 am on Wednesday morning. A 9mm Glock pistol and ten 9mm rounds of ammunition were reportedly seized during the incident.

The incident is being investigated by the Inspectorate of Constabulary (IOC) and the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
