Chozenn looks set to stir up more controversy among fans as he recently remixed yet another hardcore Dancehall single.

The gospel singer, who was heavily criticised for his Gospel remix of Dovey Magnum’s hit single “Bawl Out,” is back at it again as he recently teased a remake to one of the hottest tracks on the Dancehall scene.

On Sunday the singer took to social media previewing his latest project, a remix of Rygin King’s smash hit single “Tuff.”

In the track, the gospel singer could be heard flipping the Montego Bay-based deejay’s popular lyrics saying “Without God the ting tuff, tuff… Bible study everyday Whatsapp group just link up.”

Chozenn also seemed to address his critics from within the church following the success of his “Bawl Out” single saying “every church a try fi call mi out, dem a gimmi a fight, dem waa grill up mi mouth.”

However, it seems many fans were not amused by the singer’s remake as they took to social media blasting the song.

“Don’t mix a dancehall with gospel smh that’s f**kery str88 up argue with me,” one fan wrote while another asked, “Whyyy him love remix ppl things…n den worst a only dancehall….thought he was Christian ?✋.”

It was not all negative comments though as some fans did defend the singer. One fan, in particular, blasted the negative comments saying “It’s so sad it’s deeper than most ppl can fathom they say they want change they say they believe in God but yet still they don’t understand that ppl in Christ is tryna reach out to them I guess if u not looking religious or singing some religious songs it’s not of God and that’s problem we have with Caribbean based churches.”

Chozenn recently made history after becoming the first Jamaican Gospel artist in several years to score over a million views on YouTube for his cover version “Bawl Out.”
