Actress Charlize Theron is latest celebrity to speak out against the recent shooting deaths of African American males Alton Sterling and Philando by the police.

The South African Oscar winning actress expressed fears for her own children after the disturbing incidents. Theron has two adopted African American children, a boy and a girl.
“I want to be proactive in some way and its not enough to sit and complain,” said the actress. “It’s really frightening when you have little kids, I have two African American kids, and the world has to get rid of it’s racism, and we have to turn the page, it’s been a long long time, we have to turn the page.”
According to the “Huntsman” star something needs to be done, and something more significant than just a hashtag.
