Dancehall artiste Ce’Cile and Media personality Jinx has come to Spice’s defense after upcoming artiste Starface recently blasted the ‘Needle Eye’ deejay during her Onstage TV interview with Winford Williams.
Just hours after the snippet of the interview was uploaded online, Ce’Cile took to social media to defend Spice blasting young upcoming female artistes.

“Sigh….sigh..sigh..maybe i talk too much. But as someone who loves my culture..has been more involved in every aspect of music..more so than most women..and im almost sure many of you dont know im a producer, songwriter, studio manager as well as Recording Artist (go research it) and as someone who was so intent on helping women thrive in this industry it hurt me heart to see a female go on an interview and try disrespect another female especially in an insidious, venomous, unnecessary, retarted way. i just saw the STUPIDEST THING, AND i know its hard to get on tv in jamaica,” She wrote. “Most of you dont even know most things u do here is unnecessary anyways (thats another story) but im saying to you young upcoming females. HAVE SOME F***ING RESPECT. RESPECT THE PPL WHO A STAR AND WHO BEEN THERE BEFORE YOU..PAVING THE WAY FOR U TO TRY..TRY..TRY AND HOPE AND PRAY SAY THE SAME CAN HAPPEN FOR YOU. AND IF U RESPECT YOURSELF AND YOUR OWN TALENT YOU WILL FREELY GIVE RESPECT WHERE ITS DUE BECAUSE ONE DAY WHEN YOUVE BUILT YOUR LANE U GONNA WANT TO BE SHOWN THE SAME RESPECT,” Ce’Cile added.
She continued to say, “I NOW UNDERSTAND WHY MALE PRODUCERS DO NO WANT TO WORK WITH WOMEN…IVE ARGUED WITH SO MANY OF THEM ABOUT THIS AND FROM WHAT IVE SEEN OF SOME OF YOU WHE DONT EVEN HAVE A NAME PASS NORMAN MANLEY AIRPORT..SOME OF U R REAL DISGUSTING.. BIG UP YOURSEFL SPICE.”

TV host Jinx, who is married to International recording artiste Sean Paul quickly commented saying, “Cecile I don’t know if the exact incident your talking about but it hurts my heart to see what’s happening with the women -talented women. We need to raise each other up not tear one another down. The women in the industry are so hard working. Every time I look you and Spice off on tour and I know the sacrifices you have to make to be away from your loved ones so often. Respect is due. These youngsters coming up will never get anywhere if they don’t realize that the path paved for them must be walked on with respect!!!.”
Spice also responded to Starface’s comments during her interview hinting that she doesn’t know who she is.
