Cardi B Blasts New York Police Department

American Rapper Cardi B is voicing her criticism of the New York Police Department.

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hit maker described a recent encounter with an NYPD officer in a since-deleted tweet on Tuesday. “I can’t believe this cop put me on a choke hole [sic] just now shit is crazy these NY cops don’t know how to do they job F**K 12,” she wrote.

When a fan wrote “I bet the cops were white,” Cardi B confirmed he was.

However NYPD Assistant Commissioner Peter Donald says a full investigation has been conducted by the department however no proof of the chokehold happening could not be found.

Donald says commanders in each precinct around the area where Cardi B says the incident occurred could not find any records or surveillance video that supported her claims.

The Bronx native has refused to offer more details of the alleged incident, which has led the department to believe the chokehold never happened. The NYPD has asked Cardi B to come forward and talk.
