Capleton Case Pushed Back Following Bomb Scare

Capleton’s rape case in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court has been delayed until later this month following a bomb threat.

The veteran Reggae superstar’s court hearing was pushed back until September 21 following a bomb scare at the Half-Way-Tree court on September 4.

According to the entertainer’s attorney, Christopher Townsend, it was not something unique to the deejay as all scheduled cases were forcibly rescheduled following the incident last week.

Townsend also revealed that the deejay’s legal team is awaiting a police investigation into claims that he was extorted.

Capleton was arrested and charged with rape after he was accused by a hairdresser that he forced himself upon her. The dancehall deejay has since denied the accusations claiming he was extorted.
