Busy Signal Gets US Work Permit, Set For First Performance Next Month

Dancehall artist Busy Signal is set to perform in the United States after receiving his work permit visa.

Busy Signal is in a celebratory mood after the “Watch Out Fi This” deejay was recently  granted his United States work permit, finally allowing him to perform in country. This follows his recent trip to the USA in January on a visitor’s visa.

The “Pepsi” brand ambassador is scheduled to perform at the highly anticipated “Groovin In The Park concert,” which is set for June 25 in New York.

The overjoyed dancehall superstar expressed his complete gratitude being granted the opportunity to share his music with fans in the United States, a feat he put down to the hard work of his legal representatives.

Busy signal was of course arrested and extradited to the United States back in 2012, on a charge of absconding bail in relation to a 10-year-old drug. He subsequently served 6 months in a Federal Prison.

The concert will mark the first time in his career that the “Step Out” deejay will perform on US soil, despite extensively touring several other continents other countries.
