Buju Banton First Performance In Jamaica Will Be On March 16

Buju Banton’s first performance in Jamaica is set for March 16 at the National Stadium in St Andrew.

Tickets for the highly anticipated event will go on sale January 16.

Buju Banton who returned to Jamaica earlier this month after serving a near 10-year sentence on drug-related charges took to social media on Monday.

The Grammy-winning Reggae icon thanked his fans for their continued support during his incarceration. Banton added that he is eager to start his Long Walk to Freedom in March.

“It’s truly been a long walk to freedom..but I give thanks for the outpouring of love and support over the past 9 years,” the “Untold Stories” singer wrote. “I look forward to seeing and thanking you all on the Long Walk to Freedom tour beginning March 2019.”
