Bugle Picture Perfect

Following the release of his third studio album titled ‘Picture Perfect’ on August 16th, reggae luminary Bugle has seen a steady upsurge in demand for his brand across the diaspora.

Known for his prolific writing skills and thought-provoking delivery, the singer who recently completed a promotional media blitz in Jamaica, and U.S Tri-State Area has attributed the career upswing to the intense campaign currently being undertaken.

After debuting at No.4 on iTunes Reggae Album Chart within hours the compilation jumped to the No.3 spot. Over on the Reggae Billboard Chart last week the singer occupied the No.35 spot but has since climbed fifteen places to No.20. ‘Picture Perfect’, his collaborative effort and title track featuring Jada Kingdom have been added to Sirius XM Sattelite radio. This will see it being rotated on airwaves across fifty U.S states. Following a meeting with executives at U.S based streaming powerhouse, Audiomack, cuts from the album have also since been added to their verified and trending playlists respectively. Aside from steadily becoming a staple on various playlists across the space, the awe-inspiring single ‘Life Savior’ featuring Noah Powa and Norman Alexander in now enjoying premium rotation on New York’s Hot 97FM and Power 105.1FM.

Speaking with members of the New York Press about the current campaign surrounding his album Bugle intimated, “We definitely had a solid, well-received week of promotion, We got the people’s attention and that’s what we were looking for. Thanks to all of the radio stations and everybody who participated to make this initiative work. Big up Irish and Chin, the whole An9ted team, Prism Marketing Consultants, VPAL Distribution and Spoonfed Entertainment__ it makes me want to stay on the road and promote more.”

Now back in Jamaica plans are already afoot for a local launch before jetting off to Florida for the third instalment of his media campaign.

‘Picture Perfect’ is a masterfully crafted 20-track compendium and arguably Bugle’s best work yet in spite of the stellar effort on previous offerings Anointed (2014) and Be Yourself (2017). The project boasts a solid cast featuring Jada Kingdom, Kabaka Pyramid, Little Lion Sound (based in Switzerland) Noah Powa, Shuga, New York-based Alexander and Gramps Morgan. Even more impressive is the plethora of production virtuosos contribution to the compilation among them, Grammy Award-winning father and son duo of Erroll and Shane Brown. Erroll Brown has worked with a cadre of reggae luminaries and was the chief engineer for Bob Marley (1978-1981), while Shane who also boasts an impressive résumé was instrumental in Shaggy’s diamond selling Grammy-winning album Hot Shots.
