Dancehall artiste Rytikal has been arrested and will spend the night behind bars.
The “Cookie Jar” deejay, who is part of the Eastsyde camp has been arrested by cops in Bull Bay, St Andrew.
No details have emerged as yet, but sources can confirm that the the entertainer will be detained overnight at the least.
Rytikal is hailed as one of the breakout acts of 2020, scoring several hits such as King Inna War, Brawling, and Cookie Jar.
Since his arrest, Dancehall fans have flocked to social media speculating why the deejay was detained.
“Damn what he do?,” one fan questioned, while another fan added “Jah know jail full a stage show.”
It seems some fans don’t think the situation is too serious as one female fan joked, “Could have been in my “cookie jar” instead.”
